American Football League Records - Legends of the Game

The American Football League (AFL) is best as a professional football league, run by the famous 1960 to 1969. However, the AFL existed before 1960, 1926, 1936-1937 and 1940-1941. From 1960-1969, the AFL saw most of his successes and was in direct competition with the National Football League (NFL), merged in 1970. Gino Cappelletti, or - Cappelletti holds the record for most points scored in a season and scored more points in his career. Cappelletti scored 155 points in the 1964 season and was the MVP of the AFL in 1964. During his career with the Boston Patriots from 1960-1960 Cappelletti scored a total of 1,100 points.

American League records reflect the history and development of football. Although not large AFL are widely known or forgotten, their records speak for themselves.
